Fall Mantle {{Phase 1}}

This is phase 1 of my fall mantle decorations. I made the "HARVEST" blocks out of 2x4's. I got the directions from here. They were so easy to make, and I love the way they turned out!
I made this "FALL" banner with my Gypsy. I got the directions for it from here.
Now I am on the hunt for some more grapevine wreath pumpkins and maybe some fall foliage! I hope everyone has a great week!!!

Birthday Card and PKS!!!

This is a birthday card that I made for a friend. I wasn't in the mood to use my cricut so I used this stamp that I had in my stash!
I finally broke down and ordered some Peachy Keen Stamps and they arrived in the mail today!! I also got the Paper Doll Dress Up cart with my rewards points and it arrived on Friday. I was so excited that I just had to play this afternoon! Emma over at creativetimeforme.com inspired me to make a tri-fold card. I am loving my new Peachy Keen stamps!!

MPS: Winter Challenge

I made this card for MPS winter challenge. I was so excited today when my husband brought in a package for me and it was my Winter Frolic cart! I didn't think that I would get to use it for this challenge because I wasn't expecting it until Monday!
I really like the way that it turned out! All of my paper is from Paper Trey Ink except for the blue background. I'm not sure where it's from...I found it in my scrap bin.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Throwback Thursday: Princess

This week's "Throwback Thursday" Challenge was to create something with the Tinker Bell cart or with a princess theme. I used my Sweet Treats cart because it was the only thing that I had with a crown on it!
My patterned paper is from a K&Company stack and my solids are from Paper Trey Ink.

When I got home this afternoon, the UPS man left me a surprise! I ordered some Christmas paper and more Kraft cardstock (from Paper Trey Ink) so that I can get a head start on my Christmas Cards....now if only the UPS man will bring me my Winter Frolic cart that I ordered!! I figured I would get an early start because this is the first year that I am actually going to make my own Christmas cards! I'm so excited!!
I hope everyone has a great Friday and and GREAT weekend!!

A lazy Sunday afternoon....

Here are a few cards that I've put together this afternoon....
I made this one because I am so ready for fall! I'm tired of 90 degree temps and ready for cool, brisk afternoons. So here's my basket full of apples.
I used "Doodlecharms" for the basket and apples.

I made this one to put in a gift. I used "Forever Young" cartridge for the nail polish.
I would love to craft some more, but unfortunately, papers are waiting to be graded....
I hope everyone has a great rest of the afternoon!!

I've been making a few things here and there, but I haven't had time to sit down and post them. Here are a few of the things that I've been working on the past couple of weeks....ENJOY!

Have a GREAT weekend!!

Birthday Present

This is the card that I made for my sister's birthday. I really like the way that it turned out. I used the Sweet Treats cartridge and got the ribbon idea from ScrappinNavyWife.
I also made her this "Love" word book. It's my first word book to actually design and cut out using my Cricut and Gypsy. I used Plantin Schoolbook for the letters and I used Accent Essentials for the heart.
Here are a few pages from the book....I'm really, really happy with the way that it turned out!

I know I've been MIA for a few weeks, but I've just been busy enjoying summer. I promise I will try to stop neglecting my blog! I have some pictures of some recent projects to share with you guys, but they are stored on the internal memory of my camera so I have to wait until my sister comes home this weekend to lend me her cord. (Because I lost mine!) ; )

Only one more week though until school starts back...:(

I hope everyone has a great Monday!!

Throwback Challenge: Wild Card

This week's Throwback Thursday challenge was to use the Wild Card cartridge and the theme was your favorite holiday. I picked Halloween. It's not necessarily my favorite holiday, but fall is my absolute favorite season and Halloween is during the fall. I used the argyle card and the spider from the pumpkin card!
I hope everyone has a great Sunday!!

MPS Color Challenge: Brown, Pink, Orange, Green

When I saw the colors for the MPS color challenge, my mind went racing with thoughts like..."How in the world am I going to incorporate all four of those colors?!?" Haha, but I got out my trusty Gypsy and got to work. I used Doodlecharms for the entire card! I'm so excited with how it turned out!
I hope that everyone has a great rest of your Wednesday!!

Engagement Card

I have a friend that I work with that recently got engaged so I made her this super cute, quick card. I used the Sweethearts Cartridge for the ring box cut. I ran it through my cuttlebug and of course added stickles to the diamond to give it some bling!! I think it turned out so cute!
I also made these fabric flowers to add a little extra something to my door "art." I haven't decided yet if I want to add anymore. What do you think??
I hope everyone has a great Tuesday afternoon/evening!!

Throwback Thursday Challenge: Doodlecharms

This is my entry for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge. I was so excited for this challenge because I actually have the Doodlecharms cartridge!! The challenge was to create a scrapbook page using Doodlecharms. I made this 8x8 scrapbook page for our 1 year anniversary trip to Asheville, NC. Our anniversary is January 10, 2010, but we had to postpone our trip to March because we got snowed in on our actual anniversary! And please excuse me for not having the picture on the page, I've been meaning to go print a TON of pictures!
So imagine this picture on the page! haha!
I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

It's been a while!!

WOW!! It's been a few weeks since I posted! We went to Williamsburg, VA for vacation and I have been trying to get back in the swing of things! Since we've been back, I've made a few things that I thought I would post.

I made this purse the other day. I'm really new to sewing so I was really proud of myself for this!

For this card, I used a few different cartridges. The base is from Gypsy Wanderings and the "faith is from Home Accents. I really, really like the way that this turned out.

For this card I used my Sweet Treats cartridge and welded the flower together.

I have several birthdays coming up in the month of July so I thought that I would get a head start on my cards. I again used my Sweet Treats cartridge and welded the cupcake together.

I hope that everyone has a great weekend! I'm hoping that the temperatures come down some here in TN, it is so HOT! It's usually not this hot until August!!

First Shape Card!

I'm so, so excited because this is my first shape card using my brand spanking new GYPSY!! I printed the sentiment from my computer and then attached it to the card with a brad. I'm so happy with how it turned out!! I'm entering it in Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge. The challenge was to use the Animal Kingdom cartridge, but if you didn't have it, then make something with an animal. I got the owl from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge.

Happy BEE-lated Birthday

I made this for my husband's grandmother. She turned 85 this past Friday and with it being the last week/day of school, it completely slipped my mind to send her a card. (We did call her though!! =]) Since we're the Bugbee's and she is as well, I thought that this would be fitting. So "Happy BEE-lated Birthday Grandma!"
I hope everyone has a great week!!

Mojo Monday Challenge 140

I made this card for the Mojo Monday sketch.....
Here's my card. I used my Sweethearts cartridge for the frog. He had a crown, but I left it off. I cuttlebugged his mouth and did some doodling on him. I also printed off my sentiment from my computer. Super, super easy card!!

Again, everyone have a great Memorial Day weekend!!

MPS Father's Day Challenge

I made this card for my father-in-law for father's day. He loves comments and sentiments like this so I thought it would be perfect for him. It was a very simple card to make. I used my Sweethearts cartridge and cut the tree in the blackout feature and then used my cuttlebug for the treetop and the base of the card. I also used my computer to print out the sentiment!
I hope everyone has a fabulous Memorial Day weekend!!

Graduation Card

I made this graduation card for a friend at church who just graduated from high school. Her school colors were orange and blue. I tried something new this time with the ribbon. I ran my ATG gun tape across the back and then bunched it on the card. I then took my sewing machine and sewed a straight line across it. MPS showed how to do it in her video here. I used Plantin Schoolbook for the "g" and the star. I used my computer to print out the "raduation" and the "Class of 2010." I really love the way that it turned out!!
I hope that everyone has a great rest of the week!! **I know I will, it's the last week of school!! WAHOOO!!!!

MPS Color Challenge: Brown, Green, Yellow

TGIF!! I finally had some time to at least work on one card this afternoon and I made this one for the MPS Color Challenge: Brown, Green, and Yellow. I got the Forever Young cart last weekend and haven't used it yet. I cut this flower from FY at 3 1/4. My ribbon is a little raggedy so I will have to fix that later! Oops!
I hope that everyone has a great weekend!!

National Scrapbook Day: MPS Challenge #12

This is my card for the 12th and final challenge over at MPS. The challenge was to create a project with an animal or critter. If any of you have been watching the news and have seen what's going on in Middle TN right now, you will understand my card. Middle TN has experienced some of the worst flooding that the state has ever seen. So I thought that a rubber ducky would be perfect for this challenge.
And thank goodness it's the last one!
