Spring Break 6

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a great Friday! It's my last day of spring break so I'm trying to make the most of it! Here's a garden flag that I made yesterday afternoon and finished this morning. I got step-by-step instructions from here.
It was so easy to make! I love it and it didn't cost me a thing because I had all of the materials here!
I also made myself a camera strap. I made my mom one for her birthday back in March. I had leftover fabric from my computer sleeve so I decided to make myself one using it. You can find the directions for it here.
Now I'm going to get back in my "craft cave" and make some much needed cards! I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Spring Break 5

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone has had a great week so far! I just got back from our family cabin in East TN yesterday and spent the afternoon sewing! I'm am new to sewing, but I think I did pretty well for a beginner! I made a laptop sleeve and the step by step tutorial can be found here.

Here are a few pictures of it.
Again I'm new to sewing, but I think it's pretty good!

My parents just celebrated their 25th anniversary this past Tuesday and this is the card I made them. I used the "Wild Card" cartridge and I'm not sure what size I cut it. I did cut the envelope first and that gave me the size.

I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!!

Good morning everyone!! This morning has been filled with coffee, crafting, sunshine, and enjoying God's many blessings! He is so GOOD!!!

MPS posted a color challenge this morning using pink, green, and black. I thought I would go on and participate before leaving for the cabin this week. I FINALLY got my "Doodlecharms" cartridge in the mail yesterday so I decided to play around with it!

Here's my card for the challenge.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Spring Break 4

Happy Friday Everyone! I hope you all have had a great week! Here's what I have been working on in between all of the other stuff I had to do today.......I bought this fantastic frame at the flea market a while ago and I knew all along what I wanted to put in it. However, I just didn't find the time.

Here's the stencil on the burlap before I painted it.

After it dried and the stencil was removed.
I had a piece of plywood cute to fit into the frame. I wrapped the burlap around the back and hot glued it into place. Then I put it in the frame and hot glued around the back to secure it to the frame.
I'm so excited with how it turned out! Now I can't wait for my husband to hang it on the wall!
I hope that everyone has a great weekend!!

I hope that everyone is having a great week so far! I am so happy that I have been able to post every day this week! I has been fun being able to play around with all of my cartridges!

I made this card for my friend Courtney who is leaving Saturday to go to Hawaii. I'm so jealous, but I know that she is going to have a fabulous time!!
I made this card just for fun. I got the "Preserves" cartridge in the mail today and had so much fun looking at everything that is in this cart! I'm sure that I will find a use for this card!
I made this card from the "Wild Card" cartridge for Caleb, Mary Jane's boyfriend. He broke his collarbone today playing basketball. I did it in orange and white because those are his favorite colors and favorite team.....GO VOLS! haha
I hope that everyone has a great rest of the week!

Spring Break 2

Day 2 of Spring Break......
I made this mini album for my "God-Cousin," Bailey. She went with my mom, sister, and I to the Leann Womack, Reba, George Strait concert this past weekend.
I got the idea from Cricut Critters. She has the BEST ideas. Especially for those of use who are still building up our cartridge library.
Here are some pictures of the album I made Bailey....
There were four tags in the album and each one had a concert ticket and a picture of each performer that we saw at the concert.
There were also pictures of us throughout the day in Knoxville.
This last picture had to go sideways because it wouldn't fit any other way, but I didn't want to leave it out because it's the only one with mom! She was our great photographer for the day! haha
Are you ready to hear what I made all of this out of.....manilla file folders!! I know, crazy!
This is the front.
Well, I hope that Bailey loves it as much as I loved making it!

I also got my ATG 714 gun today! I ordered it Sunday night and it arrived today! framingsupplies.com ROCKS!!

Have a great week!

Spring Break 1

Happy Spring Break to those of you who still get a spring break like me! I have two glorious weeks to spend with myself and the Molly dog!

My mom bought me this sticker last week so I thought my Cricut would be the perfect place for it!

My amazing mother also got me the "Wild Card" cartridge in my Easter basket and I made this card for a friends birthday this week. I am loving this cartridge!
I made my sister Olivia some monogrammed cards for Easter. These are hers already packaged. I forgot to take a picture of them before I put them together!
These are the ones I made my mom for Easter. I remembered to take a picture of hers before I packaged them!
I was so excited about this card! I made it all using the "Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge." I got the idea from here. This was Daniel's Easter Card!!

I hope that everyone has had a great Monday! Keep checking back this week to see what I'm up to on spring break!
